IDF: The IDF eliminated the Deputy Commander of Hezbollah’s Missiles and Rockets Force and additional senior terrorists as part of Operation “Northern Arrows”
Following the IDF strike in the area of Beirut on Tuesday (24.09.2024) in which Ibrahim Muhammad Qabisi, Head of Hezbollah’s Missiles and Rockets Force was eliminated, it can now be published that additional senior terrorists were killed alongside him. The eliminated terrorists include Qabisi’s deputy, Abbas Ibrahim Sharaf Ad-Din, and an additional senior terrorist from Hezbollah’s missile unit, Hussein Hany, who was close to Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s most senior military commander and the head of its Strategic Unit, who was eliminated in July.
Additionally, the terrorist Fuad Shafiq Khaz’al Khanafer, a senior operative in Hezbollah’s surface-to-surface missile unit, was eliminated in an additional IDF strike.
These terrorists were sources of expertise for the Hezbollah terrorist organization and, over the years, led various terrorist activities and force-building efforts intended to harm the State of Israel. The IDF will continue to operate with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in order to restore security to the citizens of northern Israel and the State of Israel as a whole.
IDF: A short while ago, four UAVs crossed from Lebanon into the coastal area of Rosh HaNikra and were intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array.
No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
IDF: This morning (Friday), rockets were fired toward the areas of Haifa and the Krayot.
A short while ago, the launcher from which the rockets were fired was swiftly struck by IAF fighter jets.
In dozens of additional strikes, the IAF struck terrorist infrastructure sites and terrorist cells belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in numerous areas in southern Lebanon.
The IDF is continuing to operate to degrade and dismantle Hezbollah’s terrorist capabilities and infrastructure.
In a separate incident, following the sirens that sounded between 9:59 and 10:00 in the Lower Galilee area, approximately 10 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The majority of them were intercepted.

IDF: Earlier today (Friday), a number of rockets were fired toward the area of Tiberias in northern Israel. A short while ago, the IAF struck the launchers used to fire the rockets in the area of Haddatha in Lebanon.
Over the past two hours, the IAF also struck dozens of launchers aimed towards the State of Israel, weapons storage facilities, and terrorist infrastructure sites belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the areas of Sidon, Nabatieh, and in additional areas in southern Lebanon.
The IDF is currently continuing to strike Hezbollah terror targets in southern Lebanon.

IDF: The IDF Has Mobilized Two Reserve Brigades for Operational Missions in the Northern Arena: Footage of the Movement of the 6th and 228th Brigades for Combat in the North
As part of increasing the level of readiness in the northern arena, two reserve brigades have been mobilized for combat as part of the northern campaign in recent days.
After carrying out operational duties along the northern border during the war, the 6th and 228th Reserve Brigades, and several additional reserve battalions, were mobilized to enable combat efforts to continue, target Hezbollah’s military capabilities, and create the conditions for residents of northern Israel to return safely to their homes.
With the mobilization of the reserve brigades, emergency storage units were opened, and logistical equipment and combat gear were distributed to the reserve soldiers by the Technological and Logistics Unit in the Northern Command.

IDF: A short while ago, the IDF conducted a precise strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terror organization, embedded under residential buildings in the heart of the Dahieh in Beirut.
At this time there is no change to the IDF Defensive Guidelines.
If any changes will be made, an update will be released on the IDF and Home Front Command’s official platforms.

“Moments ago, the Israel Defense Forces carried out a precise strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terror organization – that served as the epicenter of Hezbollah’s terror.
Hezbollah’s central headquarters was intentionally built under residential buildings in the heart of the Dahieh, in Beirut, as part of Hezbollah’s strategy of using Lebanese people as human shields.
On October 8th, Hezbollah started attacking Israel.
After almost a year of Hezbollah firing rockets, missiles, and suicide drones at Israeli civilians, after almost a year of Israel warning the world and telling them that Hezbollah must be stopped, Israel is doing what every sovereign state in the world would do if they had a terror organization that seeks their destruction on their border, taking the necessary action to protect our people so that Israeli families can live in their homes, safely and securely.”
IDF: The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, has just concluded a situational assessment with the General Staff Forum following the strike on Hezbollah’s Central Headquarters and emphasized the IDF’s high readiness in both offense and defense across all arenas.
IDF: Over the past hour, IAF fighter jets struck terror targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization deep in Lebanon and southern Lebanon, including launchers which were directed toward Israeli civilians as well as structures in which weapons were stored.
The IDF is continuing to operate to degrade and dismantle Hezbollah’s terrorist capabilities and infrastructure.
IDF: “In the last hour, we have contacted the residents of the three buildings in the Dahieh—these residents are above and near Hezbollah’s strategic assets and must evacuate immediately for their safety and security.”
