IDF: A short while ago, the IAF intercepted three UAVs that made their way from Yemen.
Two aerial vehicles were intercepted prior to crossing into Israeli territory. Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
IDF: A short while ago, an additional UAV that was launched from Yemen fell in the Ramon Airport area.
No sirens were sounded, the incident is under review.
IDF: Humanitarian aid data and efforts for the past week:
Over the past week, close to 1,900 trucks were collected and distributed this week from the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom and Zikim Crossings.
Over 1,500 humanitarian aid trucks primarily containing food, entered through the crossings this week.
We will continue expanding our efforts to facilitate humanitarian aid for the civilian population of Gaza.
IDF: The Nahal Brigade is Operating in the Zeitoun Area: the Troops Located a Terror Tunnel Containing a Hamas Operations Room
The Nahal Brigade, under the command of the 99th Division, is operating in the Zeitoun area in the northern Gaza Strip
As part of their activities, the troops dismantled a terror tunnel which spanned hundreds of meters, inside they located an operations room used by Hamas’ Zeitoun Battalion to coordinate terror activities against IDF troops.
The brigade’s fire control center struck and eliminated terrorists who were hiding in a building beneath which an operational shaft leading to an underground terror tunnel was located.
In addition, dozens of terror targets were targeted, including observation posts and weapons storage facilities that posed a direct threat to IDF troops in the area.
Troops of the Southern Command continue to operate against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip in order to protect Israeli civilians.

Hamas terrorists planted intelligence gathering means and positioned observation posts to monitor the location of IDF troops in the area.
As part of Hamas’ preparations for IDF activity in the area, Hamas terrorists planted many explosives intended to harm IDF troops near the building.
Prior to the strike, steps were taken in order to mitigate harm to civilians, including advanced warnings to the population, the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence.

IDF: Minister of Defense Israel Katz and the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, have decided to appoint retired Police Commissioner Yoram Halevy as Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories.
The Minister of Defense interviewed several candidates for the position, and after consideration, it was decided to appoint Halevy.
Halevy has served with distinction in a number of positions over the years in the Israel Police, including as commander of the Yamam, commander of Lahav 433, commander of the Border Police, commander of the Southern District, and commander of the Jerusalem District, qualifications that well prepare him to fulfill the position in this challenging period.
Halevy will be awarded the rank of Major General and will join the IDF General Staff.
Halevy holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Education. His son, Chief Inspector Yitev Lev Halevy, who served as a combat soldier and officer in the Yamam unit, fell during operational activity in the “Swords of Iron” war.
Minister of Defense Israel Katz:
“Yoram Halevy has extensive experience from the wide range of positions he fulfilled with great distinction in the Israel Police, including as commander of the Jerusalem District. He is well acquainted with the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and with the Palestinian matter, and I am convinced he will fulfill the position in the best possible way.”
IDF: The IAF conducted an initial inquiry regarding the UAV that fell in the Ramon Airport earlier today (Sunday), and an extensive investigation on the matter is expected to follow.
The inquiry suggests that the UAV was detected by the IAF systems but was not classified as a hostile UAV, and accordingly, the interception and alert systems were not activated. There is no indication of a technical malfunction in the existing detection systems.
